Meet The Maker

Hi! I'm Erica, the silversmith behind The Good Woman.

Here are a few quick facts about me: 31, have 1 cat, my bf and I are celebrating our 10th anniversary this year, I used to work with elephants, I had a plant shop in 2020 now I don't. Originally from Texas and currently living in Arizona.

I have been silversmithing since March 2025. I've tried many crafts but making jewelry made me say "this is it".

What Does The good woman brand mean?

There are many layers to a woman. There are many steps in a woman's journey. The main concept is the goodness in her heart. She radiates it outwards and reaches others. She shows you what love is through kind acts. She respects not only others, but herself. She is the strength of her community. The beauty of nature. The reflection of her creator.

Jewelry Care Tips

Jewelry care:

All my jewelry is handmade with care from .925 sterling silver. Care should be taken to prevent damage and tarnish on your jewelry.

To maintain the quality and longevity of your jewelry, avoid wearing it during bathing, swimming, or other tasks that could damage the stone or the metal. Pieces should be stored in individual, airtight bags to prevent oxidation.

Keep jewelry away from cosmetics: apply lotions and perfumes before putting on jewelry. Allow products to dry before putting your jewelry on I recommend removing rings before washing your hands or applying hand sanitizer.

Silver naturally tarnishes over time, and this is exacerbated by exposure to moisture. If you want to prevent tarnish, keep your jewelry away from water, and store in an airtight bag when not wearing. IF your jewelry does begin to tarnish, clean gently with a cleaning cloth.

To clean your jewelry, clean with a soft brush with mild soapy water and polish with a jewelry polishing cloth (available with every purchase from The Good Woman). Do not submerge in cleaning chemicals, as they can be damaging to the stones and weaken the silver.
